We pride ourselves on being an alcohol-free sportsmen's club. ALL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE PROHIBITED FROM DAISYTOWN SPORTSMEN'S CLUB PROPERTY to promote safety as well as our members wellbeing.

FROM THE DSC PRESIDENT​​​​​​
A message from the president
​
With the 2026 election, came some changes to the board. Ron Newsom had decided to step down and I am now the president. I would like to thank Ron for his many years of service to the club as vice president and then president. I would also like to welcome the new members to the board. Ed DeFonzo as vice president, Brian Rager as trustee, and Bob Lonas as Building and grounds Maintenance supervisor.

Our goal for the club is to be able to have a place where members, their family and friends, and the local community can come together and actively engage in different shooting sports and events. We offer 7 outdoor ranges to accommodate pistol and rifle shooters, 2 regulation trap fields, and an indoor .22 rifle/pistol range. Throughout the year, we hold many leagues, community events, and fundraisers that utilize these ranges.

In 2026, I would like to see some of the projects completed that were in planning stages or started last year. One of the most noticeable project will be the construction of our new garage. The new structure will be erected off of the main parking area and will replace the failing upper garage. This project was mainly funded from the select cut timbering that should be starting in the early spring, and from very generous donations from DSC members. We would also like to be able to finish the "mine belt" hand gun range with wire mesh target stands that were started in the fall, and begin berm repairs on the rifle ranges. The little projects can be completed in house with fundraising events to offset the costs. This is where you can help. We are always looking for volunteers with different skills such as welding, plumbing, electrical, or just general laborers. This would be an easy way to become an active voting member with reduced yearly dues. Feel free to ask a board member about how to get on the path to becoming active.
